The PSP is a popular system by itself, but start packing in popular games and you've got some kind of magic. Konami's upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker game looks to join that exclusive bundle-club when it's released in June, and while lucky Japanese gamers may have gotten a more appropriate camouflaged bundle, those US fans looking to continue the never-ending saga of Solid Snake should be happy to get their hands on Sony's latest bundle, The METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER PSP Entertainment Pack.

I wanted to change things up in the blogs once again to talk about a show I recently got into, called Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil. The show was made by Sandro Corsaro, who is a flash animator and Creative Director of Disney Online. The series follows a kid named Clarence "Kick" Buttowski (voiced by Charlie Schlatter), who aspires to become the world's greatest daredevil with the help of his best friend Gunther (voiced by Matt L. Jones).
Sounds kick butt to you? If so, there’s more after the jump…
Read More »As sandy BDUs and technological warfare replaced WW2 as the go-to theme for today's first-person enthusiast, EA isn't wasting any time by following suit by bringing their Medal of Honor franchise up to speed. The latest game, which shamelessly borrows from that 'other' FPS based on modern warfare, does its best to impress with its latest trailer. Affectionately called Tier One, it ably demonstrates that you need for both the sledgehammer and the scalpel...although if neither works, a few choke-holds and aerial-attacks should do the trick.
Yes, we've seen all this before (and recently), but that doesn't mean we don't want a little more, too. EA's Medal of Honor reboots the series for a new generation this fall.

Robert Rodriguez wants you to believe that anything after the original Predator (1987) doesn't exist, and looks to follow in the footsteps of a pre-Titanic, Avatar James Cameron and follow up the original Arnold Schwarzenegger favorite with his own similarly-titled sequel. Can Predators do for Predator what Aliens did for Aliens? With a refocused effort and stellar cast (including Laurence Fishburne, Adrien Brody, Topher Grace) it might...or might not. Check out the first footage from the film, introduced by Rodriquez himself, at the official website and see for yourselves right HERE!
Word has the first full-length trailer coming March 18th. Until then, dream of Predators...
No more blurry screenshots or fuzzed-out video, this is the REAL DEAL we're talking about here. NBA Jam, in all its arcade-zany, rim-shattering glory is coming back to smash an entire generation out of its photo-realistic, sweat-replicating stupor. The realistic, big-head players look amazing, as does the "He's on Fire!!" combo shots and twirling dunk shots. Actually, the whole thing looks like mind-boggling fun on a scale we haven't seen in years...BOOM-SHAKA-LAKA!
NBA Jam makes its long-awaited return on the Nintendo Wii later this year. No word yet if EA plans to include the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in on the party, but they'd be fools not to. The bigger the shove, the bigger the love.
Perfect Dark is coming back, to the Xbox 360, that is. After a disappointing launch sequel, Rare is bringing the original game back to the Xbox Live Arcade next week, all shined up and ready for massive online consumption. The comparison video above does a great job in showing what fans can expect from the process, which seems to primarily include smoother frame-rates and cleaner polygons, while retaining the same dumb-as-dirt enemy AI.
And while it may seem ludicrous to compare a ten-year old Nintendo64 game to its Xbox 360 counterpart, it does bring up one nagging detail that can't be avoided. After years of desperately trying to replicate the success of their Nintendo/Rare partnership, it's interesting that the most anticipated projects coming out of the developer these days are updated ports of their original - and Nintendo-subsidized - games.
Perfect Dark makes its Xbox Live Arcade debut on March 17th. It's still not Goldeneye, but is probably the closest thing you'll be getting anytime soon.

One of the most interesting titles slated to hit the Japanese Wii market this year is the mysterious new RPG from original Final Fantasy creator, Hironobu Sakaguchi and his Mistwalker Studios. Nintendo is publishing his latest creation, The Last Story, and it looks like this once mysterious game just became a little less mysterious.
The official website has been updated with new story details, music, and (most interesting of all) concept art from the upcoming Mistwalker-developer game. With a tale that includes Lords, Earls, and plenty of strategic magical elements, it certainly does sound a lot like Sakaguchi's previous never-ending series of adventures.
There's plenty of mystery left for Mistwalker's The Last Story to unveil before it becomes available later this year. Check out the official website for more information, music, and gorgeous artwork right HERE!
The most successful animated film series of all-time is finally set to close the story this summer, as Shrek Forever After hits theaters in full 3D. The fourth chapter in Dreamworks Animation's crass fairytale also looks tremendously better than its lackluster second-sequel, with an original story that plays into It's a Wonderful Life...only with ogres, talking donkeys, and ninja Gingerbread Man. This could be good, and considering this is Hollywood we're talking about, not quite the finale that it's being sold as.
Shrek Forever After oozes into theaters May 21st. Better grab those 3D glasses now!
NBA Jam is coming home, baby, and the long wait is almost over. EA acquired the rights from the now-defunct Miday, and they're looking to brining back the skills that kills later this year to the Wii. It may be fuzzed-out somewhat, but it's also our first-ever look at how NBA Jam is looking, big heads and full arcade-style action. And honestly, it's looking pretty damn awesome.
The clip also mentions a full-length gameplay trailer is coming to SpikeTV later today (March 12th). Could it be any more boom-shaka-laking good than this? Tune in later today to find out!

Some believe the future of the gaming console is, ironically, not a console at all, but an expanded platform that would allow full compatability for all games and for all users. Essentially, this sounds like the long-rumored 'one console' theory many have hypothesized about for some time. Imagine a world where it isn't necessary to upgrade your gaming console, home computer, or even swap discs (in any format) to play the latest title. While this may sound like fantasy land, at least one company is that much closer to bringing this dream closer to reality.
The OnLive gaming service, which uses clusters of cloud-computing to handle the most graphically intensive processing work, is finally set to release their work onto the masses this summer. June 17th, to be exact. Keep reading for more details!
