The Pieces Come Together In The Lego Movie Trailer!
June 19, 2013 by wolfman
I never thought I'd see directors Phil Lord & Christopher Miller (21 Jump Street, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) helm the upcoming Lego film, but here we are with the trailer for The Lego Movie. The plot follows the adventures of Emmet, an everyday Lego guy who has been tasked with stopping the evil President Business from taking over the entire Lego universe. Of course he'll have help from plenty of the franchises Lego is tied into, from DC Comic characters to Star Wars. Featuring voices such as Will Ferrell and Liam Neeson, this may just be the Lego film we've been waiting for. Enjoy the trailer as we wait for all the pieces to come together in 2014!
Disney's Frozen Teaser Trailer Brings Warm Laughs!
June 19, 2013 by wolfman
Walt Disney Animation Studios is on a roll. After making such hit films like Tangled and Wreck-It Ralph, their next one titled Frozen looks to be another great title for them as well. The plot will follow a young lady named Anna who sets off on an epic journey with a mountain man to find her sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped their kingdom in eternal winter. But for now we get a look at two of the comic relief characters, a snowman and a reindeer who show off some of their antics in this teaser. Enjoy the trailer as wait for adventure to thaw out on November 27, 2013!
The Infamous Dragon Is Revealed In The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug Trailer!
June 12, 2013 by wolfman
It looks like we finally get a brief look at the dragon who has terrified fans for years in the teaser trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. While it comes at the very end (and sadly with no dialogue from the great Benedict Cumberbatch), viewers finally get to see the the infamous beast complete with awesome facial expressions. Also featured in the trailer is the return of Orlando Bloom as the fan-favorite elf Legolas. Enjoy the teaser as wait for some dragon slaying action this December!
First Look At The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug Teaser Poster!
June 10, 2013 by wolfman
While last year's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey was a hit or miss for most, things may be a little better in the second movie titled The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. While the teaser poster was released today, the trailer will be coming later this week, which I know fans can't wait to see if they can catch a glimpse of the infamous dragon. Enjoy the poster as December 13th, 2013 and the trailer can't come soon enough.
Michael Bay Releases Vehicle Pics From Upcoming Transformers Film!
May 31, 2013 by wolfman
It looks like the new Transformers movie is getting off to a good start, as director Michael Bay has posted pictures of some of the newly revamped Autobots in their vehicle mode along with some other new characters. Judging by the way Optimus looks now, it makes me wonder if he'll be more bulky / armored-up as he was in the Transformers: Fall of Cybertron game. Guess we'll just have to wait and see as more information (and hopefully more cool images) become available as the untitled film is slated to hit theaters next summer. You can check out the rest of pictures in high resolution at Michael's Flickr page HERE!
First Look At Marvel's Avengers Assemble Series Trailer!
May 23, 2013 by wolfman
While many are disappointed (myself included) that Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is gone, Marvel does have a new series based off the iconic comic book team in Avengers Assemble. After viewing the trailer, it's painfully obvious they're cashing in on last year's Avengers film, but it feels like it's lacking the same "oomph" as Earth's Mightiest Heroes. I can only hope this show does well when it premieres this Sunday May 26th on Disney XD. Until then, enjoy the trailer!
Star Wars: Rebels Animated Series Coming To Disney XD In Fall 2014!
May 21, 2013 by wolfman
While fans may be sad that the Star Wars: Clone Wars series has ended, a new show titled Star Wars: Rebels is coming to Disney XD next fall. The series will take place during the two decades between Episode III and Episode IV of the movies, as a new Darth Vader and the Empire expand their hold on the galaxy while hunting down scattered Jedi and the newly formed Rebel Alliance. If the series is anything like the recently aired Tron: Uprising show on Disney XD, fans of Clone Wars and the franchise are in for a real treat in the fall of 2014. Thanks to USA Today!
Sony Teases PlayStation 4 In Blurry Video - Full Console At E3 2013
May 20, 2013 by spiffy

In an obvious bid to undercut Microsoft's big 'Next Xbox' announcement tomorrow, Sony released a mini-teaser showing off blurry quick-shots of their new hardware, the PlayStation 4. There's not much here but at least it's here. The big promise of Sony's new cube is that we'll be seeing everything in a few short weeks at E3, and we'll be on-hand soaking up all the next-generation fun firsthand (or hands, if the controllers end up being wacky).

It is what it is, but it looks like we'll be seeing the full PlayStation 4 hardware come E3 2013. We'll see you there.

Hard to believe we're just mere months away from one of this year's summer blockbusters in Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim. This trailer goes into more detail about the plot, which involves the human race creating giant mechs to take on just as big creatures that are rising from the oceans all over the world. Enjoy the trailer, and get ready to go big on July 12, 2013!
Sony Teams With Rovio For Angry Birds Movie In Summer 2016!
May 15, 2013 by wolfman
While it would've been nice to have this happen sooner than later, Rovio is finally moving ahead with a 3D animated film based off their infamous Angry Birds games, with Sony Pictures Entertainment having exclusive worldwide distribution rights. There currently isn't a plot for the title, but the film is being developed, produced, and financed in-house by Rovio Entertainment and is slated for a July 1, 2016 release. More information on this future hit movie will be posted as it comes. Thanks to Deadline.com!
