Lord knowns why it's taken them this long, but Sega has finally realized the potential of matching their endlessly running mascot to one of the most popular mobile genres out there - endless running - with Sonic Dash. Freshly announced, the game will debut on Apple's iOS family (iPhone, iPad, iPod) soon and will feature Sonic endlessly running through levels while avoiding hazzards that will make him start all over again. It sounds simple, but it's a winning formula that has worked wonders for Temple Run, Line Runner, Rayman Jungle Run, and countless others...As long as it's better than Sonic's last mobile attempt, Sonic Jump, it should be worth looking into.
There's no word about a possible Android, Windows Phone, or other non-iOS release at this point but hopefully we'll be hearing more about Sonic Dash in the near-future as its still-unknown release date closes in, but for now check out the official Sega Blog for more non-info about Sonic's entry into the realm of endless runners right HERE!

While downloading older and select On-Demand films has become increasingly familiar in this digital age, few services have offered purely original content on their own. Netflix made waves when House of Cards stormed the streaming-only service, but now Microsoft is looking to join the original content fun with the Xbox 360-only release of British comedy Pulp.A geek-centered indie about comics and dirty money, Pulp will set you back 1180 MS Points ($14.75) for the SD version and 1420 MS Points ($17.75) for the HD version. I don't think Redbox should be worried anytime soon...
Check out the official trailer for Pulp right HERE, but there's no reason to rush to the local cinema when you can buy, download, and watch it right now on your Xbox 360 right now! Check out the film's official slot at the Xbox Marketplace right HERE!
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs was one of those sleeper hit films when it was released in 2009, and I had always wondered if there would be a sequel to it. Now my questions have been answered with the release of the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 trailer. The gang is all here along with some new food friends as they try to clean up the mess that was left behind from the first film. Enjoy the trailer, and be sure not to get eaten by food later this year when it storms theaters!

For you tech-heads, these are what's powering the next-generation console and what you should expect to find under the hood.

It's official: Sony has announced the PlayStation 4. Sort of. While the Japanese company fulfilled their promise to show off the 'future of PlayStation' during today's media-streaming event, precious little 'new' was actually shown, and apart from making the moniker "PS4" official, we'll have to sit tight until this summer's E3 gala to really know what to expect from the next-generation PlayStation hardware.
But there was stil a few goodies on display, namely the cool looking new DualShock 4 controller, a few new possible franchises, and the promise of a cloud-connected PSN that will let you share just about everything. If you haven't already heard elsewhere, keep reading after the jump for a few tidbits that Sony was willing to share with fans about the now official PlayStation 4!
