What Halo 3 began, World of Warcraft continues. Pepsi Cola will be extending their addicting partnership with the videogame world with the release of two new flavors of their extra-caffenated version of Mountain Dew (or simply Mtn Dew these days) specially designed for Blizzard's mind-bogglingly popular World of Warcraft series. Can you say sugar-rush?
The drink will come in two distinct, yet strangely appropriate flavors and colors. Alliance Blue (wild fruit flavor) and Horde Red (citrus cherry flavor) should satisfy those looking for an extra kick, to say nothing of their potential collectability. Blizzard and Pepsi have yet to announce a release date or availability just yet, although the official Community Site states information will be forthcoming.
Mixing the volitile worlds of caffenated beverages with the always colorful World of Warcraft isn't new, as the world's most popular MMO has in the past partnered with fellow sugary soft drink (and chief Pepsi rival) Coke for an expansive advertising campaign in Asian territories. Several energy drinks have also been produced, further helping fuel those never-ending campaigns and horde battles into the wee hours of the night and the indefinite future.
