Club Nintendo Sets Up Shop In North America
December 17, 2008 by johnlucas

FINALLY! At long last! People living in the North American continent have the opportunity to join the treehouse that is Club Nintendo (maybe I should have used a nightclub reference instead). Club Nintendo, that customer loyalty service where fans who show their support get rewarded with limited edition merchandise and sweet prizes. I got a few more stats for you next...

December 08, 2008 by johnlucas

Want a preview of holiday season madness? Then check out Nintendo. The home of Hyrule managed to produce enough Wiis for the stores that 800,000 of them were sold during the week of Thanksgiving! AMAZING! This record was definitely a result of Nintendo making sure to have enough stock for that infamous Friday after the holiday. And by the way, this figure is over DOUBLE last year's amount of Wiis during same time span (350,000). Oh, not to forget, DS sales went up about 20% during that Thanksgiving week. Figures brought to you by Nintendo President and Chief Executive Officer, Satoru Iwata.
