Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Manga Coming To America
July 31, 2008 by johnlucas

Who here likes the Turnabout Trial series on DS? Ahem, excuse me, got myself lost in translation there. Who here likes the Gyakuten Saiban series on DS? Oh, once again forgive me, nobody knows what I'm talking about. Ah, who here likes the Ace Attorney series on DS? "OBJECTION!" What? Who can't like the series famous for  adding Phoenix Wright to the fictional lawyer hall of fame with Perry Mason and Ben Matlock?

The series is so popular that a manga (illustrated books) series has already been developed in Japan. Now us lucky folks in North America get to flutter these vertically-read cartoon strips starting later this year. Listen further...

The two manga volumes retitled for the Americans together as the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Official Casebook (currently listed on Amazon.com) with the first volume focusing on original lawstar Phoenix Wright and the second one focusing on Wright's prosecutorial rival Miles Edgeworth. Both of these volumes go beyond the storyline seen in the games and just to give you a taste of the breadth, the first one covers 20 different cases alone in full out serialized form.

Check out the illustrated tomes of Capcom's courtroom series with Vol. 1 The Phoenix Wright Files coming out September 30th and Vol. 2 The Miles Edgeworth Files coming out next year 2009 on February 24th. I know you can't object to that.
