Halo R/C Vehicles Help Bungie Fans Finish The Fight This Month!
September 03, 2009 by mruniversal

With Halo 3: ODST ready to invade the Xbox 360 console on September 22nd, anxious gamers who want to expand their love of Bungie's immensely popular first-person shooter can look forward to invading the real world with this set of detailed Halo RC Vehicles from popular radio-controlled manufacturer NKOK, Inc!

While the existance of these vehicles have been known for some time (and seem to have gone through slight color revisions), they're set to launch alongside the next chapter in the Halo franchise this month and feature detailed recreations of three popular Spartan vehicles for maximum entertainment and faux-destructive value.

Keep reading for all the details, pricing, and availability!

Among those available will be the Full Function M12 Warthog LRV, which comes standard with two blue & green colored figures and a whole lotta firepower to help take out the Covenant menace. Measuring approximately 7.5" in length, the Warthog is capable of forward, reverse, left & right, and (if you can't take the heat) stop.

Also on the menu will be the M274 Mongoose ATV, which should thrill fans looking for a more personal killing manchine, and will feature Master Chief himself (with moveable arms, legs, legs, and head...but sadly, a stationary helmet), and measure approximately 8" in length. Smooth moves include forward, reverse, left & right turns, and of course stop. Last up is the AV-14 Hornet helicopter with infrared control, which measures 6.75" in length, and comes with twin rotors, crash resistant body, rechargeable remote, and 3 band selections.

The M12 Warthog is available now in some locations and retails for $24.99, while the M274 Mongoose ATV and AV-14 Hornet helicopter will be available sometime this month and cost $24.99 and $39.99, respectively. Depending at what source you're looking at, these Halo RC vehicles are either listed for Age & Up, or purely for Adult Collectors Only (16+). The Halo franchise is no strange to such age recommendation confusion, what with sugary, super-caffeinated Game Fuel colas and bizarre Burger King Meals. But like them, we imagine Master Chief and Company will live to finish the fight once more, or at least until the next sequel arrives!
