Why Did I Get Married Too is the clever, pun-ready sequel to his original Why Did I Get Married, the completely Madea-free romantic comedy about modern relationships and matrimonial angst. The sequel reunites the main cast (Perry, Janet Jackson, Michael Jai White, and one of my favorite singers, Jill Scott) as they reunite in the Bahamas for their annual get-together. Gentle comedy and drama are sure to follow, with the tease that one of the relationships will not survive...

Sounds like typical Terry Perry stuff, but that's exactly what his millions of fans expect. At least we won't have to see him strutting around in drag again. At least, not yet.  Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married Too makes its proposal to fans on April 2nd.
