Platinum Dunes and super-producer Michael Bay are bringing Freddy Krueger back, and they want everyone to know it. They debuted a new 'heritage' poster earlier this week, but if its moving action you're craving, then definitely check out the new A Nightmare on Elm Street remake trailer, courtesy of MySpace.
The original film helped spawn a huge franchise, made stars, influenced a generation, and made us believe that a knife-glove weilding serial killer would make a great childrens toy (no joke). Not sure if the remake has that kind of potential, but Jackie Earl Haley certainly looks like he's having fun. His line in the trailer "Why are you screaming? I haven't cut you yet" could be a keeper.
