
A bit 'o comic book movie news to get fans excited today, as MTV breaks out a new pic from the upcoming Thor film, this one showing Sir Anthony Hopkins in full gear as Odin, as well as confirming the film's native 3D release. Also on the menu are new hot tips about Captain America, and the possible replacements for Ed Norton as The Hulk in the upcoming Avengers assembly film. During the piece Thor director Kenneth Branagh dishes his thoughts on the 3D process, which Thor was filmed natively from the get-go, saying he had "a healthy degree of skepticism up front...[But] I've become somebody extremely excited about working with possibilities of doing it this way."
Perhaps most interesting is the acknowledgment of the recent problems concerning the inclusion of The Hulk into The Avengers fold. As it's been widely circulated, Edward Norton has been uncerimoniously dropped from the production after starring in connecting film The Incredible Hulk, and had widely been perceived to have been difficult to work with.
