We at Popzara have a special treat you, a back-stage look at Video Games Live. Frequent contributor (and go-to graphics guy) Richard Gionet was lucky enough to get a backstage pass to the recently sold-out show in NH from none other than one of the show creators, Tommy Tallarico himself, and featured the Granite State Symphony Orchestra for a special performance at the Capitol Center For the Arts in Concord, NH. Richard stated that he enjoyed himself at the quaint auditorium that showcased lots of past/present performing arts, with all areas of seating easily accessible and the viewing of the concert being a pleasant experience. For those unfamiliar of VGL, you can check out our review of the latest Blu-ray / DVD release of it.

Richard also said he was surprised to learn that "video games were born in NH - in Nashua, more specifically," and that the place was filled with "lots of eager, excited gamers, jittery with excitement." Also on hand was the 'father of the videogame console' himself, Ralph Baer, and he was thrilled to see that "VGL was pushing interactivity between the music and the audience" with soundtracks from some of the biggest games, including Halo, Castlevania, Street Fighter, Final Fantasy and even Disney. Also performing (both onstage and in the crowd) were fan-favorites Laura Intravia (the Link Flutist) and anime musical fans L33T Street Boys.
Here's some photos from this awesome event, enjoy!
