Hmm. Last Wednesday, Nintendo announced the release date and price of their upcoming 3DS handheld for North America. March 27th and $250 (officially $249.99) were your long-awaited numbers. That's it. Just the 3DS by itself. No extra game packed in, downloadable or physical. One shiny 3DS in 2 colors for 250 bones. Start saving, customer.
Well if this GameStop list of upcoming 3DS games is correct, Nintendo may want your whole skeleton never mind the bones! Save even more and read on...
A rundown of the 3DS game lineup from the launch in late March to early September shows most games priced at $39.99 (or $40 in honest man's talk). There are even a couple of games priced at $49.99 (just call it $50 why don'cha?). No doubt about it. Nintendo's going up on the prices for the 3DS in every way possible. Is this a smart move in a time when people are rightfully more and more picky about their finances? We'll get the verdict on that very soon. Take a look at what's coming.
