Wipeout HD Delayed Due To Epilepsy Issues
July 23, 2008 by johnlucas

Wipeout HD, the new entry into the 13 year old futuristic racing franchise on the PlayStation Network, is running into more problems than Sideshow Bob in a yard full of rakes. At last week's 2008 Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles, people expected to see a display of Wipeout HD and possibly a release date announcement. Instead they were told that mysterious technical snags kept the game from showing up at the event.

Well it turns out those technical problems are due to the game failing epilespy tests. Keep your eyes open and read on...

It was said that Wipeout HD "fails the epilepsy tests so much that it has to be re-engineered". Wow. Sounds like something out of a old Japanese anime story I heard of. No word of how long this process will take so prepare to wait for your wiping...out.
