Detective Comics, originator of golden age era comic superheroes Superman and Batman, are once again cross-pollinating with the similarly creative world of videogaming in a couple of new comic book series. Capcom franchises Resident Evil and Devil May Cry will join Gears of War, World of Warcraft, and the recently added Mirror's Edge on DC's game-to-comicbook conversions list. Like the others it will be a part of DC's Wildstorm label.

Resident Evil is no stranger to Wildstorm. The imprint had previously published a monthly comic series based on the original Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2 games not to mention an all-original mini-series called Resident Evil: Fire & Ice featuring a whole new cast of characters. Comics and videogames go together like peanut butter and jelly, it's true.
