It looks like Tyler Perry can finally be taken seriously for a change as he takes a break from the Madea films to star in Alex Cross. A role previously played by Morgan Freeman, Perry looks to fill his shoes as the infamous Detective that's trying to hunt down a crazed, muscle-bound serial killer played by Matthew Fox (Lost).
