Michael Fassbender has been starring in a string of hits such as X-Men: First Class and the more recent Prometheus. Now he's set to star in and co-produce a live action take on the hit video game series, Assassin's Creed. The film will revolve around him playing a man who learns his ancestors were trained assassins after he is kidnapped by a secret group with ties to the Knights Templar, and sent back in time to retrieve historical artifacts. Sounds like it will be loosely based on the games, but should be an interesting experience for fans and newcomers when it's released. Thanks to Variety!
