So many remakes...so little time!  Namco Bandai wants in on the action, and if that means dragging a relatively obscure TurboGraphx-16/Genesis gruesome horror/action game back from the dead...so be it!  Although there's not much to see in the first trailer for Splatterhouse (as with most debut game trailers), stick to the end and you'll see a smidgen of footage, which makes the game look more like Sega's Mad World than the original game.

With the main character looking more like The Incredible Hulk than your standard hero, the jury's still out on this one, but if its half as entertaining as the hockey mask-wearing original, it could be worthwhile.  Certainly couldn't be worse than the recent Golden Axe abomination...yuck.
