Capcom's been quite the oddball when it comes to announcing new games recently. At times they're expected (Resident Evil 5), unexpected (Street Fighter IV), and sometimes just out of left field (Mega Man 9). But they've continued to win over fans with a healthy mix of old and new, and who knows what's in store when they make their next game announcement in a trailer exclusively debuting on Xbox Live next Monday.
No word yet if the game will be exclusive to Microsoft's console (or even if the trailer itself is just a timed-exclusive), but the list of possibilities is almost endless, given how many properties the company has in their back catalog. While I'd love to see a new Strider, Ghost and Goblins, or even Darkstalkers (make it so!), it could just as well be something completely original. That's just how they roll, and that's why I'll be glued to the Xbox 360 come Monday.
