Mike Patton, lead singer of the band Faith No More, has been signed on to voice the constructicon Mixmaster in Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen. For those who don't know, the Constructicons are a group of construction vehicle Decepticons who can combine and form the mighty robot Devastator. Mixmaster is a cement truck that formed one of Devastator's legs in the series, though it's not known which part he'll form in the movie.
Mike Patton was selected after some of the producers heard his voice work in the video game The Darkness. Being an avid gamer, Mike also has done voice work on other games, such as Portal and Left 4 Dead. He'll also score the upcoming Crank: High Voltage film. Like most Transformers fans, I can't wait to see the constructicons in action on June 24th when the movie hits.
