Ready for the next round? Ignition Entertainment, publisher of the impending King of Fighters XII fighter for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, apparently loves democracy so much they've decided on another go. While the publisher made inroads with the notoriously fickle SNK fanbase by allowing them to cast their online votes for which cover would grace the North American release of the game, apparently that wasn't enough.
On the left is a wholly original piece of KOF artwork, rendered in the latest style for SNK/Playmore's HD-powered fighter. Of course, fans will notice the strikingly similar style and positioning that recall Capcom's latest fighting masterpiece, but considering the aim to bring the franchise to the masses, they could have done worse. On the right is the last round of voting's winner, whose own fate will be determined by forum-dwellers and obsessed fans. Hades, indeed.
