Get ready to throw any remnants of real life you had before to the wayside. Twitter and Facebook are coming to Xbox Live. I'm sure many of you have wasted hours of your day updating your statuses and commenting on your friend's new baby on Facebook. Now you can do it from the comfort of your very own Xbox 360! While I can't bring myself to share in the excitement, the prospect of browsing the popular social networking destination must be alluring to loads of 360 owners. The Guild's Felicia Day took the stage to show off the new tab that will be added to the NXE dashboard, and discussed the prospect of linking game screenshots and stats to your Facebook profile. That's interesting, if I do say so myself. Felicia also dropped quite the big bomb when she announced Twitter for the Xbox 360! Now we can talk about our daily lives in snippets of 140 characters or less via the Xbox 360! Life just keeps getting easier! Personally, I'm stoked for Twittering via my controller but lukewarm about Facebook. For you music lovers out there, it's also been brought to light that last.fm will be partnering with Microsoft to fit all of your audio-scrobbling needs!
