Two Marios in one year?  It certainly looks that way, as Nintendo has announced for the first time in their history two separate Mario titles will be hitting the same console with Super Mario Galaxy 2 for Nintendo Wii.

The footage from the upcoming sequels shows what looks to be largely similar gameplay elements from the critically-acclaimed original Super Mario Galaxy, although new charactesrs (Yoshi!) are now available and ramping up the charm factor to universally high levels.  More details on Super Mario Galaxy 2 as they become available!
