Roland Emmerich loves seeing the world end or be destroyed. From Independence Day, to the american version of Godzilla, to The Day After Tomorrow, it's what he loves. Now he brings us 2012, which deals with...yup you guessed it, the end of the world. According to some folks, the mayans predicted the end of the world on December 21, 2012. Though according to some other folks, they say it's just the end of a time cylce of sorts. The movie follows the first theory, and stars John Cusack, Thandie Newton, Woody Harrelson, Amanda Peet, Danny Glover, Oliver Platt, and Chiwetel Ejiofor as people trying their best to survive the end.
