Halo Goes Anime In Halo Legacy Collection!
July 25, 2009 by wolfman

A Halo movie has been in talks for years now.   But sadly that's all it's been....talk.   Now Microsoft is teaming with five anime studios to make a collection of seven short films called Halo Legends. Studio Bones, Casio Entertainment, Production I.G., Studio4 C, and Toei Animation are the anime heavy hitters who will bring the series to life.

Fans should love how the long awaited origin of the Spartans will be covered in the series, while the rest of the series will focus on different aspects of the Halo universe, and will have a different cast for each story.

Shinji Aramaki, director of Appleseed and Appleseed Ex Machina., will be the director overlooking the project.  Warner Bros. is signed on to distribute Halo Legends on video in early 2010.    I'm sure that like you, I am very curious to see how this goes.  If done right, maybe we'll more popular games get the anime treatment.  A long ovedue Zelda, Metroid or Castlevania anime perhaps?  You can also see it in action HERE and Thanks to Game Industry Biz!
