Paypal, the Ebay-owned online monetary system used by millions of consumers and businesses for safe and secure transactions, is expanding its domain into the world of gaming consoles. Microsoft's Major Nelson has announced the digital currency system is coming to the Xbox 360 to help make purchases through the Xbox Live Marketplace that much easier.
Nelson was quick to point out that users can associate multiple PayPal accounts with a single Xbox Live account, and that users looking to purchase Microsoft Points will have to head over to xbox.com to do so, as purchasing direct through the Xbox 360 console is (for now) not available. Also, PayPal is available to Xbox 360 users in the United States.
