Perhaps the most popular cartoon cat in the world, Hello Kitty has seen her cute little face plastered on just about everything you can imagine, from theme parks, coffee mugs, to even the most 'unmentionable' items. Thanks to Majesco and Barnstorm Games, it looks like North American fans will get to bring their favorite feline anywhere with the upcoming Hello Kitty Party for the Nintendo DS!
Hello Kitty Party promises to let players "dance, shop, cook, iron and much more in 25 themed games designed for fans." And fans it is, as the game is just one of the many planned releases to help celebrate the 35th anniversary of Sanrio's global feline phenomenon. Those looking to get in on the Kitty fun will also have the upcoming 'Three Apples' three week exhibition event starting November 15th in Culver City, CA. Says the official press blurb:
"Contemporary artists Gary Baseman, Ron English, Buff Monster, Camilla d'Errico, Luke Chueh, Deph, Yosuke Ueno, FriendsWithYou, and Simone Legno are just a few of the 80+ artists that interpreted their vision of Hello Kitty in one-of-a-kind pieces of art that are for sale and on display throughout the duration of the 'Three Apples' event."
Hello Kitty Party launches for the Nintendo DS on November 23rd. Those looking for more information on the 'Three Apples' commemorative event and gallery can find what they're looking for right HERE!
