Our apologizes for any confusion, but it appears that yesterday's open-voting for Ignition Entertainment's upcoming King of Fighters XII American art cover was strictly for the PlayStation 3 version. No problems, as we now have access to the equally democratic Xbox 360 version(s) to choose from, and following the trend we noticed with its Sony brother it seems Ignition is taking a very Capcom-ish approach to artistic design here.
The original Japanese cover (left) sports a rather disinterested looking Ash, with back-up help from other key franchise player. The newcomer (right) is more in line with what fans are used to, with a menacing Iori dominating the landscape, while others seem almost pasted in. Different strokes for different folks, and that's what makes voting so much fun!
