DC Comics released a comic in the 1970's called The Losers, which was based on a ragtag team of elite soldiers in World War 2 who were left for dead by their leader, and teamed together for revenge. Fast forward to the 1990's where DC Comic's Vertigo label revamped the tale for a modern day setting with Black Op CIA agents instead of soldiers.
And that's where this new film adaptation comes in, starring Chris Evans (Fantasic Four), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Watchmen), Zoe Saldana (Star Trek), and Jason Patric among others. Filming just startied in July, and it's looking to hit theaters on April 10, 2010. Sylvain White, who directed Stomp the Yard, is directing. With Peter Berg and James Vanderbilt writing the script. Should be an interesting film, as I do love revenge / payback movies. Thanks to Beyond Hollywood!
