Debut Trailer For Disney's 2D Return The Princess and the Frog

Before the conversation veers from "Wow, Disney 2D animation is making a comeback!" and into the muddier waters of "Why has it taken Disney THIS long to get a black princess...?", let me just say I'm in favor of the former, but respect the latter.  Since taking over key roles in the company, it looks like John Lasseter's promise to restore hand-drawn artwork and animation to Disney's repertoire is taking root!  The trailer for The Princess and the Frog puts strong emphasis on the connection to classic, post-1989 and pre-1995 works (i.e. Little Mermaid to Lion King) to drive the point home that the Mouse House is rocking again, which is fine by me.

Look for the full trailer to air before Pixar's UP, and The Princess and the Frog hits theaters December 11th!
